Public Booking Page

The Public Booking Page is the customer-facing interface where people schedule appointments online — no phone call required. Chronicaly generates a unique booking URL for your organization that you can share anywhere: your website, Google Business Profile, social media, or email signature.

What Customers Experience

The Public Booking Page walks customers through five steps:

Step 1 — Service Area Validation

The customer enters their service address. Chronicaly immediately checks whether the address falls within your defined service area and displays a confirmation.

Customers outside your service area cannot proceed. This prevents bookings you cannot fulfill.

Step 2 — Customer Information

The customer enters their name, phone number, and optionally their email address. Chronicaly checks for an existing customer record matching that phone number. If a match is found, the customer's previous information is pre-filled.

Step 3 — Service Selection

The customer selects one or more services from your catalog. The system calculates the total estimated duration and optional price estimate for the selection.

Step 4 — Date and Time Selection

The customer selects a date. RouteSense™ then presents available time slots for that date.

info

How RouteSense™ Calculates Available Slots Slots are calculated based on the resource's existing schedule, travel time from the prior appointment's location to the customer's address, and the duration of the selected services. Slots that cannot be realistically reached are not shown.

Customers see slots labeled Next Available — they do not see which specific resource is assigned. Chronicaly automatically selects the nearest available resource to minimize travel time.

Step 5 — Review and Confirm

The customer reviews their appointment details and adds any special instructions. When they confirm, the system places a soft hold on the slot to prevent double-booking while the appointment is being processed.

If your location requires approval, the appointment enters a Pending status. If your location is set to auto-approve, the appointment is immediately confirmed and notifications are sent.

Go to Settings → Booking Page. Your unique booking URL is displayed at the top of the page. Copy it and share it anywhere you promote your business.

How to Test Your Booking Page

You can use your own booking link to walk through the full customer experience before sharing it publicly. Use a real address within your service area to see how slot availability works.

tip

Book a test appointment using the Public Booking Page, then view it in your scheduler to confirm RouteSense™ assigned the correct resource and time.
