Customer Approval Flow

When your service provider has set up a recurring Service Agreement that requires your approval, you'll receive an email each time they propose a visit. This page explains what that email looks like, what your options are, and what happens in each scenario.

What does the approval email look like?

The email comes from your service provider and includes:

  • The proposed visit date and time
  • The service(s) to be performed
  • A deadline to respond
  • Two action buttons: Confirm Appointment and Request a Different Time

How do I confirm the proposed time?

Click Confirm Appointment. The visit is immediately confirmed and you'll receive a confirmation email with the full details. No account or login required.

What if the proposed time doesn't work for me?

Click Request a Different Time. This takes you to a page showing all of your provider's available slots — not just their preferred schedule, but all open times — so you have full flexibility to find something that works.

Select a slot, confirm, and the visit is booked immediately. You'll receive a confirmation email.

Can I skip this visit entirely?

Yes. On the time-selection page, there is a None of these work — skip this visit option at the bottom. You can leave an optional reason for your provider.

Skipping a single visit does not cancel your recurring agreement. Your provider's system will send you a new proposal at the next interval.

What happens if I don't respond before the deadline?

The outcome depends on how your provider has configured the agreement:

  • Auto-Confirm — the visit is confirmed automatically if you don't respond. You'll receive a confirmation email. This is typical for services where you don't need to be home, like lawn care or pool cleaning.
  • Release to Queue — the hold on the slot is released and your provider is notified. Your agreement stays active and you'll receive a new proposal at the next interval.

The link is only valid until the response deadline. If you click after the deadline has passed, you'll see a message that the link has expired.

Contact your service provider directly to reschedule if needed. Your recurring agreement is still active.

Do I need an account to respond to an approval email?

No. The links in the email contain a secure identifier tied to your specific appointment proposal. You can confirm, choose a different time, or skip — all without logging in or creating an account.

What if I want to change my preferred days or times permanently?

Your preferences are stored on the Service Agreement by your provider and used by the scheduling system every time it proposes a visit. Contact your provider to update them.
