Quick Start
Follow this guide to get Chronicaly running and take your first appointment. Most businesses complete initial setup in under 30 minutes.
:::info Before You Begin You will need your business address, your service area (the geographic region you work in), and the services you offer with their estimated durations. :::
Step 1 — Complete Your Organization Profile
After signing up, Chronicaly walks you through an onboarding checklist in the Action Center on your dashboard. The Action Center tracks your progress and links directly to each setup step.
Each checklist item disappears once you complete it. When all items are done, the Action Center switches to showing operational notifications — approvals, alerts, and announcements.
Step 2 — Create Your First Location
A location is your base of operations. Go to Settings → Locations → New Location and enter:
- Location name (for example: Main Office or Dallas Branch)
- Address
- Time zone
- Business hours
Your resource schedules and appointment slots are all calculated in this location's time zone.
Step 3 — Define Your Service Area
Your service area tells Chronicaly where you are willing to travel. Customers outside your service area cannot book through your Public Booking Page.
Go to Settings → Service Areas and draw your coverage zone on the map.
Step 4 — Add a Resource
A resource is the person, truck, or unit that performs the work. Go to Settings → Resources → Add Resource and enter a name and assign it to your location.
Step 5 — Set Time Blocks
Time blocks define when a resource is available to take appointments. Go to Settings → Resources, select your resource, and configure its weekly schedule.
Step 6 — Build Your Service Catalog
Add the services you offer. Go to Settings → Services → Add Service and enter a name, duration, and optional price for each service.
Step 7 — Preview Your Public Booking Page
Go to Settings → Booking Page to preview what customers see. You can test the full booking flow from a customer's perspective before sharing the link publicly.

Step 8 — Take Your First Appointment
Share your Public Booking Page link with a customer — or book an appointment yourself using the internal scheduler at Schedule → New Appointment.
Use the internal scheduler to test the full flow before your Public Booking Page goes live. You can see how RouteSense™ calculates available slots based on travel time.
