Marketing Dashboard
The Marketing Dashboard gives you a real-time view of how your marketing channels are performing. It shows how many people are visiting your booking page, how far they progress through the booking steps, and which sources and campaigns are driving completed appointments.
The dashboard is accessible at Marketing → Dashboard. It is visible to Administrator and Scheduler roles only.
KPI Metrics
The top of the dashboard displays four key performance indicators.
Total Sessions
The total number of visits to your Public Booking Page during the selected date range. Each visit — whether the visitor books an appointment or leaves early — counts as one session.
Completed Bookings
The number of sessions that resulted in a submitted appointment. A session is counted as completed when the customer reaches Step 5 and confirms their appointment.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of sessions that ended in a completed booking. Calculated as:
Completed Bookings ÷ Total Sessions × 100
A higher conversion rate means more of your visitors are following through to book. A low conversion rate with high session volume indicates visitors are dropping off before completing the form.
Abandoned Sessions
The number of sessions where a visitor started the booking flow but did not reach confirmation. Chronicaly identifies an abandoned session when a visitor has been inactive for an extended period without completing Step 5.
Booking Funnel Chart
The funnel chart shows how many visitors reached each of the five booking steps. Use it to identify where drop-off is happening so you can investigate and improve that step.
Step 1 — Service Area Validation
The customer enters their service address and Chronicaly checks whether it falls within your service area. Drop-off here typically means customers outside your service area, or confusion about what address to enter.
Step 2 — Customer Information
The customer enters their name and phone number. Drop-off at this step may indicate friction with the form or concerns about sharing contact information.
Step 3 — Service Selection
The customer selects one or more services from your catalog. Drop-off here may indicate that service descriptions are unclear or expected services are missing.
Step 4 — Date and Time Selection
The customer selects a date and available time slot generated by RouteSense™. Drop-off at this step is common when no slots are available on the dates a customer wants.
Step 5 — Review and Confirm
The customer reviews their appointment details and submits. Drop-off at this final step is uncommon and may indicate a technical issue or hesitation after reviewing the appointment summary.
Focus improvement efforts on the step with the largest percentage drop from the previous step. A sudden drop at Step 4 often points to slot availability gaps rather than a marketing problem.
Source Attribution
The Source section breaks down sessions and completed bookings by the utm_source value attached to the booking link the visitor used.
| Source Label | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Visitor arrived via a Google-tagged booking link | |
| Visitor arrived via a Facebook-tagged booking link | |
| Instagram, Yelp, Email, etc. | Visitor arrived via the corresponding tagged link |
| Direct | Visitor arrived without a trackable link (typed the URL, used an untagged link, or arrived from an unknown source) |
Source values are set when you create a trackable link in the Marketing Link Generator. If a visitor books through your plain booking URL — without a utm_source tag — their session is recorded as Direct.
Campaign Attribution
The Campaign section breaks down sessions and bookings by the utm_campaign value on the booking link. Campaigns are optional labels you apply within a source to track specific promotions or variations.
For example, if you run two Google ad campaigns simultaneously — one targeting a spring promotion and one targeting a specific neighborhood — you can create two separate links with the same source (Google) but different campaign names. The dashboard shows each campaign's performance independently.
Sessions without a utm_campaign value appear as None in the campaign breakdown.
Filtering by Date Range
Use the date range selector at the top of the dashboard to focus on a specific period. All metrics, the funnel chart, and attribution tables update to reflect only sessions that started within the selected range.
