Action Center

The Action Center is the hub on your Chronicaly dashboard that surfaces everything requiring your attention. It shows approval requests, system alerts, onboarding steps, and announcements — all in one place.

The Action Center is role-aware: each user sees only the items relevant to their role. A staff member will not see billing alerts. A billing administrator will not see appointment approval requests.

Types of Items in the Action Center

Approval Requests

When an appointment is submitted through the Public Booking Page and your location requires approval, an approval request appears in the Action Center. Administrators and Schedulers see these items.

Click an approval request to open the appointment details and approve or decline it.

Onboarding Steps

When you first create your Chronicaly organization, the Action Center shows a guided checklist of setup steps. Each step links directly to the relevant settings page.

Steps disappear from the Action Center as you complete them. When all steps are done, the onboarding checklist is replaced by operational notifications.

Any Administrator in your organization can dismiss an onboarding step for the entire organization.

System Announcements

Chronicaly may send announcements about new features, scheduled maintenance, or important account information. Announcements are authored by Chronicaly and appear for all users or specific roles depending on the message.

Any Administrator can dismiss an announcement for the entire organization.

Browser Notifications

Chronicaly can send browser push notifications when a new approval request arrives. To enable push notifications:

  1. Click Enable Notifications when the banner appears on your dashboard
  2. Allow notifications when your browser prompts for permission

Push notifications are sent for approval requests only. Onboarding steps and announcements do not trigger push notifications.

tip

Enable push notifications on the device you use most so you are alerted immediately when a customer submits a booking that requires your approval.
